This policy describes what Apeiron Finite Investments Ltd does with personal data collected through this website, and this website only.

No cookies, no tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking technology. There is no third-party tag on it. Every asset, including the fonts, is served from this domain, so loading a page here does not cause your browser to contact any other organisation. That is why you are not shown a consent banner: there is nothing stored on or read from your device to consent to.
What we collect
Personal data is collected in one place only, the contact form. We record:
- the name and email address you give us;
- the organisation you give us, if you choose to give one;
- the type of enquiry you select and the message you write;
- the date and time of the submission;
- a shortened form of your network address, and your browser’s user agent.
The network address is truncated before storage: for IPv4 the final part is replaced with a zero, and for IPv6 only the routing prefix is kept. A complete address is not stored. This exists solely to detect repeated automated abuse of the form.
Our web server also keeps the ordinary operational records needed to run and secure the site, for a short period, and does not use them to profile visitors.
Why, and on what basis
- To answer your enquiry: our legitimate interest in replying to someone who has contacted us, and where relevant taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
- To keep the form usable: our legitimate interest in preventing automated abuse of a public form.
- Legal obligations: where we must retain correspondence.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. Enquiries are handled by the company. Where mail is delivered to a company mailbox, our email provider processes it on our instructions under a written agreement. We may disclose correspondence to our professional advisers, or to a regulator or law enforcement where legally required.
Retention
- Enquiries that do not lead to a relationship: deleted within 24 months of the last correspondence.
- Enquiries that lead to a contractual relationship: retained for the life of that relationship and six years afterwards, for accounting and limitation purposes.
- Truncated network address and user agent: deleted within 12 months.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you may ask for a copy of your personal data, have inaccurate data corrected, ask us to delete or restrict it, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and receive it in a portable form. Write to privacy@apeironfinite.com; we respond within one month. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
